With a total surface area of 2 m², the skin plays an important role in eliminating toxins from the body. That’s why it is also referred to in neuropathology as the “third kidney”. Alkaline electrolytes help detoxify the body, thereby reducing the strain on the kidneys, while zeolite binds harmful heavy metals and impurities. Blood circulation is enhanced by the breakdown of acids. Neutralisation of metabolic acids helps improve muscle elasticity and reduce the tendency to cramp. What’s more, deacidification leaves the skin soft and supple.

Recommended use

Twice a week, stir two slightly heaped measuring spoons (about 26 g) of BASENFIT BAD into a moderately warm full bath and soak for 30 minutes. Do not use soap or shower gel. Massage your body vigorously three times underwater using a body brush. Do not use soap or shower gel after your bath. Also suitable for wraps, compresses or bathing individual body parts.

Product notes

Using a simple trick, you can see for yourself how effective an alkaline bath is in deacidifying your body: Get some indication paper from your pharmacy, with a measuring range of pH 4 to 9. Dip a test strip into your BASENFIT bath before getting into it. Repeat the pH test after your 30-minute soak. You will notice that the pH level of your alkaline bath has dropped, meaning the bath has become more acidic. This is due to the acid that your body has eliminated through the skin during your soak.[/vc_wp_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]
