The main task of the trace element iron is to fulfil its role as the central atom of haemoglobin, the functional part of red blood cells. IRON PLUS capsules not only contain organic iron, but also complex micronutrients that encourage an optimal transformation of nutrient iron to haemoglobin. Iron is also an integral part of other enzyme systems where it contributes to neutralising cell damaging radicals. Vitamin C enhances the absorption of iron in the intestine, the trace element copper supports iron transport in the blood. Chlorophyll is the green plant pigment and is chemically related with haemoglobin. The vitamins of the B complex contribute to a functioning haemoglobin production.
